TALENT DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

Charlotte, North Carolina (Hybrid)

AGDATA is currently seeking a Talent Development Specialist, who under the direction of the Talent Development Manager, will partner with Operations Leadership to drive onboarding efficiencies and deliver focused growth opportunities for Operations Team Members.

As a Talent Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within our organization. You will design, implement, deliver, and evaluate training programs that align with organizational objectives and enhance team member performance; significantly contributing to the growth and success of our team members, and the overall organization.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Key Responsibilities of the Talent Development Specialist include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify knowledge and skills gaps within the Operations organization.
  • Communicate effectively with key Operations stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and address concerns related to training initiatives.
  • Develop and design engaging and effective learning materials including job aids, training guides, e-learning modules, and multimedia presentations and videos.
  • Facilitate live instructor-led training sessions and workshops, either in-person or virtually, ensuring an engaging and impactful learning experience for participants.
  • Establish metrics and evaluation methods to assess the impact and effectiveness of all Operations training programs and initiatives.
  • Analyze training data and feedback to make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement and growth within the Operations organization.
  • Administer AGDATA’s learning management system and external learning platform, ensuring proper functionality, accessibility, and internal user support.


EDUCATION / SKILLS / PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE


  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communication, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office platform (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.)
  • 1-3 years experience in a Learning and Development function or experience as a subject matter expert sharing content and knowledge with team members.
  • Prior experience in a customer support or service role focused on customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
  • A strong understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design principles, and training delivery and facilitation techniques.
  • Familiarity with learning authoring tools, learning management systems, and external elearning platforms. (iSpring, Litmos, Udemy Business)
  • Familiarity with multimedia development tools for video and elearning production.
