What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staging Technician position at Agfa Radiology Solutions?
We are looking for a Staging Technician to join our team in Carlstadt NJ. You will be responsible for configuring Agfa HealthCare IMG products, utilizing Altiris automation tools for consistent build quality. Timely completion of customer projects is critical to maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. In addition, this position requires a detailed individual to review technical configuration documents and to complete accurate paperwork to meet all Regulatory and Company compliances
Responsibilities, but not limited to the following:
- Install and configure Agfa proprietary and third-party software on MS Windows based computer hardware and peripherals. Qualify product functionality per established criteria
- Assist with the processing of returned Spare Parts
- Maintain, charge and upgrade AGFA’s DX-D 100 fleet in preparation for delivery to a customer site ensuring the systems are virtually plug and play once they have arrived onsite
- Troubleshoot build issues. Determine and implement resolution. Generate Discrepant Material Reports as required.
- Perform required administrative tasks to comply with company and regulatory requirements. Document system configuration information, complete product staging checklist and Device History Record. Perform tasks accurately and on time.
- Assist Service Engineers with system troubleshooting and configuration. Provide responses promptly.
- Conform to all required ISO, FDA, OSHA and company regulatory requirements.
- Recommend and/or implement continuous improvement processes.
- Adhere to Agfa HealthCare Code of Conduct.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science would be an asset.
- Certification in MS Windows Operating Systems or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Detailed knowledge of computer hardware systems and peripherals.
- Must be experienced with Microsoft Excel, Word.
- SAP experience is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware problems.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and in groups.
- Detail oriented.
