Job Description
Job Title : QA Analyst
Location : 100% Remote
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Job Description :
IT Quality Assurance performs software/system testing and validates if expected results are achieved
Skills Required :
• Review project requirements and specifications to determine the scope of the project and identify what needs to be tested; Participate in team meetings, such as stand-up meetings or sprint retrospectives, to discuss project progress, identify issues, and plan the next steps.
• This may involve manual testing, automated testing, or a combination of both.
• Ensure that system tests are successfully completed and documented, and all problems are resolved. Any issues found are communicated with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Application Developers.
• Ensure timely notification and escalation of possible issues and problems
• Act as a liaison between project management and development teams
• Other duties as assigned.
Skills Preferred :
• Understands comprehensive testing methodologies as appropriate for software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Understands Microsoft DevOps
Experience Required :
• QA/QC testing
• Attention to detail
• Effective communication both verbally and documentation
• Organized and time-driven
Experience Preferred :
• One year of experience as an IT Quality Assurance Analyst, IT Help Desk Technician, Software Developer, or a similar position that requires testing/debugging
• Experience in Agile business/software development lifecycle processes and methodologies.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure DevOps or similar
• Experience in product testing in a professional setting
Education Required :
HS DIPLOMA OR GED
Salary : $20 - $25
