Loader Operator

Agri-Cycle is New England's largest food waste collection company; we are experiencing exponential growth year-after-year and provide an essential service for the entire Northeast. Currently we are looking to fill a full-time Loader Operator position immediately. Our home terminal is in Exeter, ME . Qualified applicants will be compensated at a rate up-to $25/hour commensurate with experience.

Agri-Cycle has a newly implemented bonus program to incentivize great performance. We also have an updated pay scale called PAY AS YOU GROW which allows employees to increase their hourly wage by learning new skills. With these programs, employees have the ability to increase their earnings by at least $6000 per year.

The job responsibilities of Loader Operators at Agri-Cycle include, but are not limited to the items listed below.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Use of a loader & fork lift to safely load packaged food waste materials into the feed hopper of the de-packaging system.
• Use of a loader & fork lift to safely move the processed material to its designated staging area.
• Monitor the operation of the de-packaging system to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Work with staff to repair de-packaging machine after unexpected breakdowns.
• Perform routine maintenance on the de-packaging system and loader.
• Keep accurate records of machine output, repairs, and other maintenance.
• Keep work area as clean and organized as possible.
• Work with truck drivers to make sure inbound and outbound loads are loaded and unloaded safely.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Prior experience operating machinery in an industrial setting.
• Some lifting (up-to 50 lbs)
• Ability to work on-foot for a 10hr shift.
• Must be comfortable working around sometimes-unpleasant materials
