OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT: Position located in the OCFO, National Finance Center, Human Resources Management Staff, in New Orleans, LA, aligned to recruitment, staffing & classification services.
Initial cutoff date for referral consideration is 11/23/20, and thereafter, in increments of every 10 calendar days of applicant submissions, as vacancies occur. Recruitment will continue through the announcement closing date. Applicants MAY BE periodically referred as vacancies become available.
Time in grade:
Applicants must have one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade to be considered for the next higher grade (e.g. one year at the GS-12 grade level for consideration for the GS-11 grade level). Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement including specialized experience as defined below.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE for the GS-12:
At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in Federal Service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: (1) Providing guidance and assistance to management and employees on human resources issues; (2) Interpreting and applying laws, regulations. and policies pertaining to staffing and recruitment to internal placement, merit promotion, and delegation hiring examining hiring; (3) Using established procedures to conduct job analysis; (4) Determining applicant qualifications; (5) Identifying problems and recommending appropriate actions to management; (6) Offering advice, suggestions and/or alternative staffing options or solutions to both applicants and managers; and (7) Providing guidance on vacancy announcements. (8) Researching and gathering information in support o position classification or position management studies. Note: This information must be fully supported in your resume.
