We are looking for a skilled and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, processing payments and invoices, preparing reports and statements, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in accounting or finance and/or experience with QuickBooks Enterprise and MS Office (especially Excel), and a keen attention to detail. You should also have excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bookkeeper Responsibilities:
Record and classify daily financial transactions using QuickBooks Enterprise
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and petty cash
Prepare and send invoices to customers and vendors
Process accounts payable and receivable, and follow up on overdue payments
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements
Assist with payroll, tax filings, and audits
Maintain and file financial documents and records
Comply with federal, state, and local financial and tax laws and regulations
Communicate with internal and external parties regarding financial matters
Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned
