We are seeking a motivated individual who will be responsible, under direction of the Location Leader, for various accounting functions required to account for customer deliveries to or purchases from the location and for running the scale.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Always utilize good customer service skills, when servicing and greeting customers, and when collaborating with co-workers and other departments within the company.
- Prepare customer grain contracts, settlements and issues grain settlement checks as needed. Grain contracts should be completed with settlement information and filed appropriately or forwarded to Albert City.
- Ensure settlements are made following all state requirements and make sure there is no lien on government hold.
- Respond to customer inquiries at the counter and over the phone regarding such things as statements, sales, bids, grain contracting, grain offers and options, historical account activity, etc.
- Prepare and print product invoices including invoices for feed, fertilizer, NH3, dry lime, seed, chemicals, and other miscellaneous products and ensure the proper product went out.
- Take and prepare feed orders by phone, fax, or email for customers and communicate with the feed production teams as to the customer’s needs.
- Weigh incoming and outgoing loads at scale, record grades, input scale tickets, and file tickets.
- Invoice outgoing grain and prepare/input grain transfers.
- Review daily scale ticket printout, grain advance listing and 30-day list reports. Reconcile any differences and prepare corrections and notify appropriate branch locations.
- Reconcile grain advance listing monthly.
- Runs reports for Sales Agronomist on what they have sold and what needs to be brought in.
- Work overtime and seasonal hours as required.
- Assist at other locations as needed.
EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of six month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education an experience.
