Agtegra Cooperative is seeking a remote Training Specialist within our South Dakota and North Dakota trade territory.
Position Summary
This position will be responsible for training employees at field locations on the company ERP system and related bookkeeping functions and processes. This position will continue to develop, improve, and enhance processes and procedures within the grain division, but also cross trained in Non grain ERP systems and divisions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Train location bookkeeper on processes & procedures
- Assist with mergers and acquisitions either on-site or remotely
- Provide training to bookkeepers on current ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) tools.
- Triage tickets and assist bookkeepers with support requests coming into Fresh Service help desk.
- Plan and administer Power Hours as needs arise.
- Plan, organize and facilitate in person trainings with the bookkeeper group
- Work with IS Support, Agronomy, and Grain departments to ensure ERP and other software procedures are up to date.
- Conduct and document regression test scenarios during software upgrades
- Testing within current ERP system to develop new processes and procedures as the system continues to develop and evolve.
- Travel to locations for on-site training as necessary
- Train warehouse personnel on Agvance Warehouse App
- Ensures proper record keeping is done for all daily activity at the location level.
- Prepares, updates/maintains bookkeeper Manual.
- Works with various Admin departments and locations on standardizing current processes throughout the company and helps with the creation of new processes and procedures for future projects and activities.
- Open communication with locations to understand issues and formulate resolutions.
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Accounting or Finance, or 2-3 years of directly related experience; especially with accounting software and location bookkeeping; excellent problem solving, and analytical skills required.
- Employed as an Bookkeeper Specialist for a minimum of 2 years and mastered all job duties and requirements within that role.
- Have a good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to create detailed training instructions.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Ability to work well and train within the Zoom platform
