Job Description Summary
Responsible for the generation and sourcing of quality talent to fulfill the organization’s recruiting and staffing needs. Assist the Employment Manager with identifying interviewing, screening, testing, and referring applicants for job openings throughout the Organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
- Develops recruitment strategy, including job posting optimization, recruiting marketing channel development, job board procurement, digital and non-digital employment marketing, comprehensive recruitment campaign planning, etc
- Developing and maintain contacts, to include schools, alumni groups, and other public agencies to identify sources of qualified candidates.
- Schedule and attends job/career fairs with appropriate staff as a source to generate qualified applicants.
- Coordinate the Casino’s participation in the setup of displays and recruit applicants at job fairs.
- Make public presentations at schools, organizations, and job fairs promoting the organization, its job opportunities, and employee benefits.
- Place all job advertisements on social media platforms and organizations career site.
- Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters, and using available media outlets, social media, and job sites.
- Act as liaison with employment agencies, college and industry associations.
- Prepare attractive hiring packages and communicate with selected applicants to offer employment
- Provides recruiting metrics to management on a weekly basis
- Works collectively with the management team in providing input, suggestions, and recommendations for recruiting operation.
- Review applications and prescreen applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, while providing information concerning the organization, the job opportunities available, and employee benefits.

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- SPHR or PHR certification preferred.
- Strong casino/hospitality recruiting experience required
- Strong management and computer skills.
- Ability to effectively present information and to respond to questions from groups of potential candidates and the general public.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift. Also may be subjected to a smoke filled environment.
Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
