Project Coordinator
In this role you will be responsible for working with a team to deploy Client projects, attain relevant industry certifications, and shadow current employees on the various technical solutions with the expectation of eventually managing Client projects independently.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Be a mentee and shadow on billable projects in an effort to establish knowledge on Project Management best practices.
- Occasionally work under a project manager and assist with administrative tasks on a specific project. While project managers oversee the process from planning to completion, the project coordinator's role is focused on executing specific stages of a plan.
- Facilitate and coordinate Project tasks while working under supervision of Project Managers and Program Delivery Managers.
- Support the delivery of projects by creating status reports, documenting meeting notes, managing resources, facilitating and collaborating with project team members to gather requirements, scheduling meetings etc...
- Assist with and occasionally drive planning and coordination tasks of billable projects from initiation through delivery completion.
- Help ensure service delivery success and Client satisfaction through effective communication and project coordination efforts.
- Assist with managing incidents and communication with various Clients.
- Work closely with Project and Program Managers on project tasks and provide project status updates regularly.
- Utilize Ahead systems and various management tools to maintain updated project information.
- Assist in developing SOWs, PCR’s, and Client presentations.
- Develop Client relationships and aid in identifying additional sales opportunities.
- Identify and execute on opportunities and efforts to ensure Client success.
- Assist in execution of project plans, project scope, activities, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
- Develop and distribute project status reports to internal management and client project teams.
- Coordinate activities and tasks among project team members, other internal departments, and client or vendor/subcontractor organizations as needed to meet project goals, and ensures project completion is on schedule, within budget constraints, and of the appropriate quality standards for the project scope.
- Assist in managing project risks, issues/problems, and activity progress to ensure project goals (e.g., deadline, scope and quality) are achieved.
- Conduct project closure activities to formalize and communicate the project acceptance, handover documentation, and ongoing activities.
