ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:
- Unload/load trucks. (TLS, LTL, CPU and CPU store orders) within allotted time. Load CRW, RPW, and Plants 1 & 2 stock and other misc. loads. Unload all stock coming from Plants 1 & 2, unload shorts for orders from CRW and RPW. Unload Florim, pallet trucks and other misc. trucks.
- Stock small pallets, take out the trash, using floor sweeper, stocking cardboard dividers for trucks, placing wood braces for the SA in all racks.
- Offload SPS line.
- Restock large pallets.
- Break down pallets.
- Pick and build orders safely and accurately.
- Move material to off-site warehouses.
- Put up stock from P1 & P2, replenish pallets, recycle material, clean areas, put up supplies, and take out the trash.
- Pull shorts.
- Cycle Count:
- Complete flags and holds, making copies to file. Count and ensure each location is correct and corresponds to information indicated on the system.
- Ensure each location is safe and taped.
- Label tile for sample material from broken boxes and other boxes.
- Follow up on errors as reported by customers.
- Retrieve tile to be measured and photographed.
- Pick Orders:
- Use Logistics system to successfully complete orders by use of scanner, keyboard, and print stickers for products.
- Build full pallets of inventory to be shipped using a lift or hand picking, including wrapping and distributing order to right shipping dock receiving locations.
- Pack SPS orders.
- Pack boxes for shipment (running tape machine, paper machine, making boxes, wrapping tile, and auditing materials per packing list.)
- Fix shorts and work with Customer Service reps, finding and transferring material from warehouse location to sample locations.
- Drop SPS orders to pick, utilizing knowledge of AS400 and WMS systems.
- Prepare products to pack, putting packing list and load stickers in lots and verifying by control number; labeling and putting away stock and shorts.
- Ensure all samples are clean upon packing.
- Run finished shipments through AR Traffic, weighing and placing shipping label on box, and stacking boxes on appropriate pallets.
- Close out UPS and Fedex in AR.
- Put away stock so it can be picked and shipped out.
- Create room (locations) for inventory, ensuring that you clean along the way.
- Put away material/inventory when it is delivered, when it has been on the floor too long and when it is returned.
- Adjust inventory.
- Consolidate material and move material to off-site warehouses when necessary.
- Pull empty pallets from rack locations.
- Report material with manufacturing tag errors.
- Assist with receiving (returns and purchase orders) and labeling/relabeling materials.
- Sweep and clean: empty cans into hopper and dumping contents of hopper, cleaning aisles, cut plastic, tape product, sweep under racks.
- Fix fallen/broken pallets in the racks, occasionally repairing racks.
- Assist in Laminam.
- Follow proper processes and procedures, as outlined in standard operating procedures.
- Operate a reach truck, tow motor, order picker, standing extender, pallet jack and forklift.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers, Supervisors, and other Departments as necessary.
- Follow safety guidelines and company standards. Adhere to proper PPE.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
- Maintain lift and fill battery with water each time it is changed.
- Assist in other areas as needed, when your daily primary function is completed.
- Weigh tile occasionally.
- Perform any other duties that may be required or assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to successfully complete and pass a background check, employment verification and drug screening
- Positive and Verifiable Work History
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1 year of experience in a related environment or equivalent training and/or education
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, SOP and standard work
- Must possess shift and schedule flexibility of regular time (any shift that may include off-hours and/or weekends), and overtime, as needed
- Must agree to follow safety guidelines and wear applicable safety equipment, e.g., safety glasses, side shields, approved safety shoes, and other PPE as needed.
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's; ability to use a calculator; ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; able to communicate effectively and function in a team-based environment; ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

3pm – 11pm
All include a 30-minute paid lunch and two (2) 10-minute breaks
