What are the responsibilities and job description for the Demand Planner position at AHF Products?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:
- Developing demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for various time horizons as part of a demand planning function.
- Facilitating monthly consensus review process with sales team and executive leadership.
- Reviewing historical sales trends, researching demand drivers, preparing forecast data, developing statistical forecast models, and evaluating forecast results.
- Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with Sales & Operations, Supply Chain, and Marketing to understand demand forecast drivers.
- Using and maintaining the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool.
- Providing input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
- Closely coordinating and communicating customer action plans with supply planning.
- Developing and tracking forecasting metrics
QUALIFICATIONS / DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of related work experience.
- APICS or other forecasting Certification.
- Knowledge of software related to demand planning.
- Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Power BI).
- Strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process.
- Good facilitation skills.

Salary : $53,300 - $67,400
