We are seeking Pipefitter Apprentices at our Thilmany Mill in Kaukauna.
- Starting Pay - $24.00 / hour
- Apprenticeships available right away!
- Company-paid schooling to achieve Journeyman Card
Responsibilities
- Maintenance Apprentices will work under the direct supervision of a maintenance journeyman
- Perform preventative maintenance routes, scheduled maintenance, and emergency repairs to industrial pulp and paper manufacturing equipment
- Responsible for performing general maintenance on facility equipment and property structures.
- Work within a team, including operations, engineering, and other trades to effectively troubleshoot and solve equipment issues
Requirements
- All applicants will be required to take and pass a maintenance aptitude entrance test before they can be hired as Maintenance Apprentice.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to successfully pass a post-offer background check and drug screen
- Highly motivated and demonstrate the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work varying shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays once required training and certification is complete
- $3.00 / hour weekend differential available
