Tree Climber

We are offering a $500 sign-on bonus that will be paid out after your first 90 days of employment.

We are looking to add a full-time OR part-time Tree Climber to our team of professionals that make up some of the best in their field! Our ideal candidate is dedicated, hardworking, and able to maintain a professional yet friendly demeanor Ahlum & Arbor climbers are valued members of our team, responsible for the pruning and removal of trees.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain professional standards that uphold the company’s mission and values
• Set good examples for work ethic, production, and safe operating procedures
• Pruning and removing trees
• Work as a team with foreman, grounds person, and other crew members
• Take direction from foreman on tasks to complete each day
• Help set-up and clean-up job sites

Qualifications:

• Works well with others
• Ability to take direction well and perform tasks in a timely manner
• Ability to multitask
• Learning and adhering to all company safety procedures
• Valid Driver’s License
• Be able and willing to climb trees to heights of 80 feet with rope and saddles with no damage to the trees
• Be able and willing to prune/remove trees to heights of 80 feet to ANSI A300 standards
• Be able and willing to run a chainsaw on the ground and in the tree in a safe manner
• Be able and willing to use safe rigging techniques to remove parts or all of a tree over houses and landscapes without damage being done

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
