What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media Manager position at AHM Brands?
The Gig:
Demonstrated creativity, community building/management and sharp communication skills are essential requirements of the Social Media Manager. The SMM will spearhead content creation, calendars & post scheduling, community management, paid social campaigns and project coordination with members of our digital & creative teams. Excellent copy writing skills are a must, along with a working knowledge of relevant social platforms and a strong grasp on what’s trending in the social media space.
What You’ll Be Asked To Do:
- Develop & execute on Social Media Strategies
- Research & stay current with social media trends & tools
- Conduct regular Social Media planning sessions with AHM clients
- Provide Art Direction for Social Media-focused photography or videography shoots
- Brainstorm ideas for social media campaigns
- Content creation for client’s brand social profiles
- Content calendar, editorial calendar and post schedule oversight
- Manage community growth, response and engagement across multiple channels
- Compile data and various analytics to report out on social media KPIs
- Manage social accounts across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube) inside various industries
- Collaborate with AHM team members to create engaging Social content, both static and dynamic
- Write Social post copy
- Monitoring buzz in various online environments (i.e., blogs, Twitter, reddit, etc.)
- Channel brand sentiment to build authentic, relevant and interactive conversations and relationships
Qualities We Are Looking For:
- 3 years experience managing Social Media for established brands.
- Experience creating Reels, TikTok videos and YouTube Shorts
- Experience working inside Asana or similar project management software.
- Ability to plan, organize and facilitate client needs and requests.
- Ability to work well both independently and in a collaborative, team-based environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in general research and information gathering.
- Ability to direct one or more team members.
- Ability to manage a project from start to finish.
- Excellent client-facing communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking.
- Willingness to work extra hours if required. We strongly believe in an appropriate work/life balance, but also are committed to exemplary client care. While not the rule, it is likely there will be the occasional project that requires extra hours to ensure we deliver on our promises.
