Primary Purpose:
This role supports attorneys in the Employment, Labor and Benefits law Department, management, ADUSA and its US affiliates (collectively the "US Companies"), business partners and managers. The paralegal provides support for the US Companies' investigation and defense of litigation, arbitration, and government agency suits, charges, grievances and internal matters; performing legal and factual research; gathering, reviewing, drafting and reviewing documents (including contracts, agreements, policies and internal and external communications); preparing responses for subpoenas and legal production of documents; and preparing summaries, analyses and recommendations. Discretion and confidentiality are essential based on exposure to sensitive matters presenting legal, public relations and associate relations risks.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Independently conduct research, investigate facts, and develop legal arguments
- Keep track of changes in the legal framework and provide research, proposals, and implementation in response to legislation changes
- Collect and analyze data needed for litigation matters and regulatory investigations and proceedings
- Organize and archive the documents related to completed and ongoing legal matters
- Analyze and prepare legal documents with a strong attention to detail
- Exercise a prominent level of discretion and independent judgment in managing designated aspects of ADUSA Litigation Management team initiatives
- Manage day-to-day maintenance and administrative duties
- Schedule and interview witnesses in civil, criminal, and administrative proceedings
- Interact with management and other associates to answer routine questions and concerns related to litigation matters and regulatory investigations and proceedings
- Work independently with limited direction from attorneys and/or management
- May develop or manage other legal support staff for Level 1 or 2 paralegals and support staff.
Basic Qualifications:
- Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree preferred
- 7 years of paralegal experience
- Accurate and Precise in everday work
- Investigative mind and proficient research skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Advanced oral and/or written communication skills
- Supervisory / leadership skills
- Strong analytical skills
