What is the Role?
Reporting to AiDash’s CFO, the Corporate Controller will play a key role in building out the Company’s accounting function. His/her/their contributions will be critical to ensuring the accurate reporting of the consolidated financial statements, accounting data, revenue recognition, technical accounting research, day-to-day accounting operations, and the sufficiency of the Company’s financial and accounting policies.
The Corporate Controller will be responsible for implementing the necessary infrastructure, systems and processes, both within the department and across multiple functions, to ensure successful compliant operations. He/she/they will be operationally oriented strategic thinker who has ideally, but not limited to, worked for high growth enterprise SaaS technology companies that have scaled from Series C/$15M ARR to IPO/$100M ARR. He/she/they will be a player/coach with a "roll-up-your-sleeves" style who is excited to build an accounting team within a rapidly growing company.
\n- Manage, build, and develop a high-functioning accounting team and improve business processes, and systems to support the strategic direction of a high-growth global organization.
- Prepare financial statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position. Ensure integrity of all financial information under GAAP/IFRS.
- Manage financial and operational systems to gather the appropriate data to analyze results and report on key SaaS and business metrics.
- Oversee all operational accounting functions such as revenue, billing, accounts payable, deferred revenue, cash management, bank/investor compliance, equity administration and accounts receivable including collaboration with our teams in India and the UK.
- Partnering with the sales organization on new contracts and revenue recognition and continue to improve the prospect to cash cycle.
- Communicate financial results, metrics and trends across the organization to various business unit leaders.
- Coordinate and manage the global month-end close process through consolidation and financial statement preparation.
- Implement corporate policies and procedures and ensure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, laws, and regulations.
- Manage the external auditor relationship along with the CFO to ensure continuous improvement keeping the company ahead of the curve in terms of developing GAAP/IFRS guidance and the impact on financial reporting and disclosure.
- Provide technical accounting leadership on significant accounting transactions while staying up to date on technical guidance relevant to the enterprise software industry.
- Development and implementation of internal controls and best practices.
- Assist with Carta and stock option pool/equity management and reporting.
- Partner with CFO as a liaison for Board of Director & Investors including preparation of materials for presentation to the Board of Directors and outside investors.
- 7 years demonstrable experience building a world class accounting function for a high growth/dynamic SaaS company.
- Verifiable track record in recruiting and retaining a strong team that consistently delivers on business objectives.
- Extensive technical accounting experience required (e.g., stock-based compensation, revenue recognition, etc.).
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to articulate Company’s financial results, accounting policies, and procedures in layman’s terms; comfortable interacting with all levels of organization, including C-suite executives, project teams, and business unit leaders.
- Proven ability to assist in the development of financial and operational systems to define performance benchmarks, reduce costs and improve financial performance.
- Strategically “agile”, demonstrates a track record of effectively driving strategy, seeing beyond the obvious, providing timely and quality deliverables, prioritizing, and managing multiple concurrent projects is critical.
- A broad-minded business executive; able to communicate and execute with an eye for business case, ROI, “Big Picture” and long-term strategy.
- Quickly interpret and relate current events to actions that need to be taken, flexible when considering process vs. reality.

Salary : $225,000 - $275,000
