Job Accountabilities
The following are essential job accountabilities:
- Places incoming parts and materials into inventory and distributes according to established procedures.
- Research parts specifications for quality and efficiencies. Inspects parts and supplies to ensure compliance with FAA and ACC standards.
- Ensure all parts and materials are current and remove from inventory when expired.
- Maintains work order requests and purchasing orders using the Pentagon inventory system.
- Reconciles inventory, maintains stock inventory and warehouse in a safe, clean and orderly condition.
- Operates a variety of machines and equipment, such as forklift, hand trucks and carts, rolling stock ladders, vans and pick-up trucks.
- Load and unload trucks with products and materials.
Job Specifications
Minimum Education: High School Diploma.
Preferred Experience: One year in related field of expertise, knowledge of inventory and nomenclature as well as demonstrated ability to deal with
customers.
Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Mathematical skills
Skills: Machine: Valid Driver’s License
Forklift experience preferred but not required
Calculator, PC, telephone, and fax machine
Working Conditions: Bending, reaching and climbing
Physical Demands: Repetitive motions, talking and hearing. Lifting a maximum of 50 lbs.
