Job Title: Receptionist

Job Summary
The Receptionist position reports directly to the AMT Group Marketing Manager and is an integral part of our team. This position is the first contact that most customers, vendors, visitors, and workers have when interacting with AMT Group and its affiliates, and sets the initial tone for all who call or visit our facilities.
AMT Group, Inc. is a management company that oversees general operation practices of four entities, including AirClean Systems. Each entity manufactures a full range of products that serve the Scientific, Medical, Pharmaceutical, Academic, Food/Beverage, Biotechnology and Forensic market segments. The core products for each company provide for operator safety to harmful chemicals and particulate or protection of analytical samples from airborne contamination.
As the first contact for most customers and visitors, the receptionist must have a courteous demeanor, smile and greet people in a friendly manner, and properly direct people to the correct location.
Job Duties
- Answer phone calls in a timely manner
- Provide friendly, courteous service to all callers
- Route calls appropriately
- Greet visitors in a friendly and courteous manner
- Ensure all guests sign in and sign the appropriate documentation
- Ensure all employment candidates receive the appropriate application
- Direct employment candidates on where to find current job opportunities
- Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company email address, company website, and other related information.
- Place invoices and/or accounts payable checks in envelopes
- Mail out company catalogs or other communications
- Log checks received
- Assist the Marketing department with various tasks and projects
- Coordinate lunch orders for company meetings
- Data entry or file scanning into the company CRM
- Other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision as well as work well in a team environment
- Strong listening skills required
- Able to follow directions
- Strong attention to detail
- Friendly, courteous, and clear speaking voice
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 years of receptionist experience
- 1 years of experience with multi-line phone system
- Bilingual
Terms of employment
This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position.
Hours
The general hours shall be Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with an hour break for lunch.
Work Environment
Work is regularly performed in an office environment.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand and/or walk. The employee must occasionally lift, carry, push or pull up to 20 pounds.
