Field Technician

Position Summary:

Florida’s largest indoor air quality and engineering firm has an immediate opening for an Engineering Field Technician for our Florida territory. The position is flexible but full time, and all equipment will be provided, including a take home company vehicle. This is a great opportunity to take the next step in your career.

Status: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

· Carry out construction defect, component failure, and origin and cause investigations as it pertains to commercial and residential properties.

· Inspect esidential structures in accordance with industry standards and company procedures as it relates to insurance claims.

· Collaborate with internal and external team members to accomplish tasks.

· Transmit field pictures and notes in a timely manner.

· Maintain an exemplary standard of customer service.

Qualifications:

· Excellent verbal/written communication, organizational, and self-management skills.

· Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

· Ability to walk steep-slope roofs and sustain the Florida outdoor environment.

· Prior industry experience and/or education.

Necessary Attributes:

· Must be willing to drive across the state of Florida

· Be available to travel and work overtime as needed and agreed upon

· Self-starter with good verbal and written communications skills

· Ability to learn and acquire new knowledge and skills quickly

· Above average organizational skills

· Ability to work independently
