Summary:

Icon Aerospace is looking for a self-driven SIOP Analyst to help with data analysis to take our business to the next level using the data around us. This is an onsite position that is located in Indian Trail NC.

The Sales, Inventory, and Operations (SIOP) Analyst is responsible for balancing the supply chain based on demand from forecasts and sales opportunities. This position will perform data analysis in order to provide insight for SIOP demand planning and supply planning requirements and execute plans with the SIOP Team and in partnership with sales and business units to address possible gaps. This position may also analyze the business as needed to optimize production schedules against the customer demand. The data collected will help develop and track overall Supply Chain Metrics and KPI’s.

Essential Functions:

Work cross-functionally with SIOP, Sales, Product Line Management, Operations, and Materials organizations to monitor and continuously improve the process of getting products to our customers.

Define and manage data integration across ERP systems, the SIOP database tool, and to be defined bookings forecasting and scheduling tools.

Provide leadership in defining manufacturing data assessment, load, and validation for potential ERP upgrade.

Provide input into the development and implementation of logistics, strategies, processes and tools to improve efficiency and be cost-effective.

Produce inventory entitlement analysis for each BU/Site via Plan for Every Part process.

Lead data assessment, data gap closure, and data load processes for implementation of scheduling tool.

Design and produce Forecast Accuracy analyses – bookings, demand plan, revenue, EBITDA.

Design and product schedule attainment and volatility analyses, among other SIOP KPIs.

Provide ongoing support of inventory initiatives, support analysis by developing inventory projection and goals, and identify and recommend corrective actions.

Analyze and assess demand planning, forecasts and execution plans while identifying possible gaps with production capacity and escalate issues as needed.

Assist in quantifying and defining the scope for capacity, resource, logistics and supply chain planning.

Implement Improvements in demand planning and supply planning workbooks.

Recommend improvements to procedures to reduce the cost and increase the speed of SIOP planning.

Lead development and implementation of SIOP database improvements.

Manage additional improvements as necessary.

Implement and manage SIOP process control plans.

Produce forward-looking materials spend projections with identification of master data gaps requiring closure.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Statistics AND 3 years of work experience in an analyst role OR Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Required Qualifications:

Proficient in MS Office.

EXCELLENT proficiency in organizing and analyzing large amounts of data requiring advanced knowledge of MS Excel and database skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate and resolve complex issues in a fast-moving environment.

DESIRED Qualifications:

Prior experience or strong knowledge of Supply Chain processes, specifically Supply Planning and Operations.

Advanced understanding of causal forecasting and “what if” analysis.

Able to learn ERP, CRM and other business tools.

Able to evaluate business performance and communicate findings to others and translate it into future business expectations.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage many diverse projects with different deadlines and priorities simultaneously.

Project management experience.
