What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator position at Airswift North America?
Airswift has been tasked by one its major clients to look for a Forklift Operator to work an initial 12 months contract in Charleston, SC. Responsibilities:
- Properly receive, store manage inventory and ship finished lubricant products
- Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer
- Properly store items within assigned locations within the warehouse
- Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, andinvestigate discrepancies or adjust errors
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with regulations and facility policies
- Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment
- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to leads/supervisor
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse-related/forklift experience required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Computer skills
- Good time management skills
- Verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability
- Attention to detail
**This position is for the second shift, starting 2:30 PM.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $1.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
