What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager position at Airswift?
The Accounting Manager will report to the Controller and play a crucial role in managing the accounting operations. The Accounting Manager will oversee month-end closing activities, assist with forecasting and management reporting, and contribute to special projects as assigned. This position requires strong attention to detail, financial reporting expertise, and the ability to collaborate with various global departments.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and management reports
- Ensure timely and accurate payment processing for vendors, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Lead the month-end close process for multiple entities, including the preparation of journal entries and reconciliations for prepaid, fixed assets, accruals, leases, shareholder expenses, and other areas as required.
- Collaborate closely with shareholders while managing staff schedules effectively.
- Maintain synchronization between purchasing and accounting systems.
- Support the annual audit process.
- Contribute to other assigned projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting.
- Proficiency in Oracle Fusion or a similar accounting system
- CPA certification would be preferred
