AWS Developer – 12-month W2 contract – Remote within Texas

Working in a governmental team, your responsibilities will be:
- Lead the implementation of AWS Data Lake instance by translating program needs into technical requirements, supporting program leads in defining the long-term vision for the project, defining and implementing data governance / identity and access management policies, tracking project expenses, testing and validating new functionality, enabling program staff to use new tools, and regularly interfacing with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Program to implement new data feeds via API, maintain AWS Amplify data upload platform, and implement and maintain crawlers and jobs in AWS Glue.
And to be the perfect candidate for the role you must have the following experience/skills*:
- AWS Glue
- AWS S3
- Python/Javascript programming
BIG Pluses are*:
- Cloud Solution Architect
- Experience with Linux
- AWS Amplify
