What you'll do
- Assess the the security of the technologies employed in our offices and corporate environment (SaaS tools, Identity Providers), provide recommendations to service owners, and assist in the scoping and planning of joint projects
- Collaborate closely with our IT Team to monitor, validate, and maintain security controls
- Act of as the subject matter expert on endpoint security issues for macOS and Windows
- Expand your knowledge and capabilities related to Information Security to provide new opportunities in your career
Who you are
- 3 years of IT Engineering experience
- Possess a growth mindset and a desire to pivot into an Information Security role
- Understands how to balance security and user impact in a fast-growing startup
- Moderate proficiency with Python, Go, Ruby, or similar programming languages
- Prior experience supporting macOS hosts in a business environment
- At least 1-2 years of experience with a macOS MDM solution (preferably Jamf)
- An understanding of security fundamentals (WiFi, encryption, SAML, MFA, password policies, phishing, etc.)
- Can communicate effectively with colleagues that possess varying levels of technical expertise
Nice-to-have
- Experience managing users, SAML configurations, and automation workflows in Okta
- Understands how to manage key security features in Google Workplace
- Familiarity with Slack workflows, custom apps, and/or bots
- Experience with Windows Intune and supporting Windows hosts in a business environment

The compensation awarded to successful candidates will vary based on their location, relevant skills and experience. For Colorado based roles, the base salary range for this role is $139,000 - $207,000. The total compensation package also includes the opportunity to receive benefits, restricted stock units, and may include incentive compensation.
