Product Director

The role: This role will work closely with our executive team and other business functions across the Airwallex environment, managing multiple product domains and focusing on the strategic development of products. Responsibilities： 1. Define the long term strategy, product vision, roadmap and OKRs for the entire product domain; 2. Grow and develop a talented team of product managers, investing in their skill development and career growth, and cultivate a highly inclusive, collaborative, and results-oriented culture; 3. Lead product development from ideation through to final delivery and commercialisation; 4. Partner with Internal and External Stakeholders to identify and deliver product solutions that increase both revenue and commercialisation rates; 5. Collaborate with Senior Management, Software Engineering and the broader Product teams during the analysis phase to assess value, usability and feasibility； 6. Own the prioritization work with the development team to align delivery with the overall Product roadmap; 7. Work closely with the executive team, while being highly engaged in business strategy and decision making; 8. Make difficult trade-offs and decisions relating to product features, cost, and schedule. Qualifications： 1. 10 years experience in project management, engineering, or product-related roles; 2. 5 years experience in people management, including building and leading product management or engineering teams; 3. Entrepreneurial drive and the ability to set and achieve goals in an innovative environment; 4. Ability to make decisions by considering both the long term product vision and short term growth requirements; 5. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey product strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences; 6. Deep understanding of product management, including 1) the ability to connect business and product strategy in order to drive meaningful business growth; 2) understanding user research and behaviours to inform product design and strategy; 7. Strong user understanding; 8. Capable of leading a team, managing senior team members and getting people excited about your product vision. Airwallex is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
