Assistant Project Manager
Are you looking to join a growing and fast paced team in the Capital District? AJ Signs is looking for a new team member to join as Assistant Project Manager at our Burnt Hills, NY headquarters. Qualified candidates must be motivated self-starters who take pride in their work with a strong attention to detail. Basic construction experience is preferred. Sign experience is a plus but not required, job training is available.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Accurately completing detailed surveys at various job sites across the greater New York area. This includes documenting existing conditions and helping to devise a plan for successful sign installations.
- Assisting our established Project Management team by meeting with customers on-site to help gather detailed survey information. Construction experience will be helpful to accurately identify how the structures are built and what is needed to install and fabricate the sign.
- Coordinating with customers about projects to gather information and ensure their needs are met.
- Maintaining an organized flow of project related data and materials.
Other Requirements:
- A motivated outgoing attitude with a readiness to learn.
- A friendly personality with strong communication skills while talking to customers.
- Willingness to work as a team with Project Managers, Designers, Fabricators, and Installers to complete a pipeline of projects.
- Standing and walking throughout the work day.
- Working at various heights on ladders and lifts.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Clean driving record.
