What are the responsibilities and job description for the TTH HR Generalist position at Ajilon?
A national non-profit focusing on improving health and economic opportunity for all is looking for Temporary-to-Hire HR Generalist who is local to the DMV area. This person will be skilled with HRIS systems and love talent acquisition. In joining this HR team you will gain further exposure to benefits and employee relations. This is a hybrid opportunity that will pay between 70-75K once hired with exceptional benefits. Hourly pay up to $25 p/hr
Responsibilities:
- Support the Director and VP of HR with full life cycle recruiting for internal openings
- Facilitates implementation of new hire orientation, exit surveys, and required notices, professional development, and other related initiatives
- Handle general inquiries by employees for HR processes and policies
- Prepare data reports using Excel and Workday
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred
- At least 2-5 years’ experience within HR is required
- Working knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems and Workday experience highly desired
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Microsoft Office Suite or related software is a plus
- Ability to quickly learn or be proficient with the organization's HRIS and other employee management software
- Excel data manipulation skills
