Overview
The Finance Manager will provide broad support to the Supply Chain team with 70% emphasis on Procurement/Logistics and 30% support to Operations. This position will provide analysis and reporting to business partners to establish operational and financial goal alignment to drive financial results. A key responsibility will be to evaluate current processes and provide recommendations to leadership so policies and best practices can be established while complying with JSOX.
Responsibilities
- Provide procurement & logistic trend reporting to leadership team; identifying key cost drivers & understanding how they impact the P&L
- Assist with the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting for procurement & logistics (to include forecasting and budgeting processes)
- Perform monthly audits of procurement & logistic GL accounts for accuracy
- Understand current contracts and provide support and analysis to Supply Chain team when needed
- Become the Finance SME by working closely with T&W to understand Transportation Cost Models for fuel pricing, spot rates, reefer load to truck ratio & pallet volume
- Support Supply Chain team by providing analysis to help forecast inventory; develop a good understanding of how it impacts working capital/cash flow and be able to communicate results to leadership team
- Collaborate with Supply Chain team to identify opportunities to drive and track procurement & logistics cost savings projects
- Validate and track KPI reporting for Supply Chain team
- Support annual physical inventories and cost roll process
- Perform special projects and other assignments as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; 5+ years finance related experience in a manufacturing environment with emphasis in supporting Supply Chain
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel, Access and PowerPoint
- Strong ERP software experience
