AKA University City is hiring for a PM Supervisor with 3 years’ guest service experience!
Team Member Requirements:
- Function as a representative of the Korman culture and standards to all Team Members and our residents.
- Approach all encounters with residents and Team Members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Promotes a safe, secure and healthy work environment.
- Maintains Resident/Resident privacy and confidentiality by protecting all personal information.
- Team Member should have intimate knowledge of surrounding area including but not limited to: restaurants, retail, arts, cultural activities, etc.
- Familiar with emergency and safety procedures for your position.
Responsibilities:
- Engage all residents with an upbeat can-do attitude
- Oversees daily front desk operations and manages daily room inventory.
- Supervises Resident Representatives during shift.
- Handles issues involving Residents.
- Welcomes residents by greeting, answering questions, responding to requests.
- Registers Resident by obtaining or confirming room requirements, verifying pre-registration, assigning room, obtaining information and signatures, issuing Resident room keys.
- Establishes credit by verifying credit cards or obtaining cash.
- Conveys information to Resident by receiving and transmitting messages, mail, facsimiles, packages, etc.
- Provides concierge duties to Resident by answering inquiries regarding resort and other services Resident may require, such as entertainment, shopping, business, and travel.
- Responsible for completing daily shift reports.
- Responsible for accurate and timely information passed on to the next shift.
- Coordinating resident move-in and move-out materials
- May be asked to assist in inspecting suites for arrivals.
- Knowledge of equipment components located in suites (i.e. TV, thermostat, HVAC, etc.)
- Maintain the team schedule book of any items of business that will be occurring during the day
- Call, confirm and customize all resident reservation requests to exceed residents expectations during their stay
- General knowledge of local dining, entertainment and historical options
- Providing a property tour and show room introduction when applicable
- Maintains resident confidence by maintaining service levels; garnering “repeat” visits
- Enhances property reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Proficiency in English (written and oral).
- Proven strong background in Room Operations
Required Qualifications:
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of one to two years of Resident Service experience.
- Ability to be flexible with work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Skills Needed: Motivational, verbal communication, written communication and manageability.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Sits, stands, bends, stretches, lifts items and moves intermittently during working hours.
