The Receptionist will support the AKA Office Manager with organizing and coordinating daily office procedures to ensure an organized and efficiently managed reception and overall office. Reporting to the Office Manager, this is a temporary part-time position with flexibility depending on the needs of the agency. This position is fully on-site.

The Receptionist will support the AKA Office Manager with organizing and coordinating daily office procedures to ensure an organized and efficiently managed reception and overall office. Reporting to the Office Manager, this is a temporary part-time position with flexibility depending on the needs of the agency. This position is fully on-site.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients, vendors, visitors, guests, and colleagues
- Ensure a warm, professional, and welcoming front office environment
- Maintain the reception area and common office spaces, ensuring a visually neat and clear aesthetic
- Answer all incoming calls and distribute messages accordingly
- Coordinate and oversee the set up and clearing o all meeting rooms, including client catering
- Manage and oversee all meeting room calendars and troubleshoot as needed
- Manage all office deliveries, incoming/outgoing mail, including FedEx and Messenger pickups
- Maintain a basic working knowledge of all meeting room AV equipment
- Support the Office Manager in conducting office supply inventory
- Maintain and update office documents as assigned
- Prepare and circulate internal communications as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- At least 1 year of experience in office management/operations experience, ideally in a client-facing role
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and eagerness to provide enthusiastic, friendly, and knowledgeable service to clients, staff, and guests at AKA
- Experience with Mac and Windows
- Ability to identify problems and present solutions in a clear and concise manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excels at operating in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated interest in theatre or performing arts a plus!
- $16 - 22 per hour
