What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance position at Akam?
Schedule: M-F from 9-5. Will need to alternate a Saturday shift 1-2 twice a month.
Position overview: The Maintenance Technician is responsible is to ensure that the building is properly maintained in proper working conditions. Performs general repair and maintenance such as repairing pipes, tanks, and water fixtures, unclogging toilets and drains, and handling various residential plumbing requirements. It will also performs general repair and maintenance such as painting and electrical.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Painting repair
- Plumbing repair
- Light plumbing
- Electrical repairs
- Minor carpentry
- Drywall patching
- Pressure cleaning
- Other maintenance duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- English is a must.
- H.S Diploma is required
- Highly reliable and punctual
- Proven experience as a plumber
- Strong work ethic
- Detail-oriented
- Strong time management
- Maintenance experience (preferably in a condo, HOA or residential setting)
