Job Summary: Performs logistics coordination, scheduling, and resource deconfliction in support of a 12-24-month project to migrate U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Cisco routers from existing Verizon circuits to AT&T circuits. While performing remote work, video teleconferencing is expected in a distraction-free environment. A neutral or professional background (can be a corporate-approved digital background) and appropriate professional dress (e.g., no T-shirts, sweatshirts, etc.) are required. Job Responsibilities: - Researches, runs tests, evaluates, and recommends telecommunications and data network systems - Interfaces with users, consultants, technical teams, and vendors for maximum guidance in determining the most appropriate type of hardware installation - Analyzes test data and recommends hardware or software for purchase - Performs work under minimal supervision - Coordinates resources and scheduling in support of circuit transitions - Synchronizes and deconflicts multiple complex operational parameters to achieve best outcomes - Serves as liaison between contractor technical teams and customer POCs to eliminate administrative and coordination overhead for contractor's engineering teams - Analyzes and recommends updates to operational procedures and workflows - Provides recurring written and verbal updates to Senior Coordinator
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: - 5 years of previous USCG IT experience (preferably with an ESD) - High school diploma or higher education - Public trust security clearance or higher clearance - Exceptional oral and written communications skills - Exceptional customer service skills We are an equal opportunity employer.
