Job Description: In support of this program, the Quality Lead will be dedicated to ensuring the quality of services on the contract for the USCG National Maritime Center (NMC) in Martinsburg, WV. In support of the US Merchant Mariner Credentialing Program, RiverTech provides technical and administrative support services that includes a variety of tasks that includes: receiving and processing all incoming mail and packages; preparing and processing all outgoing mail and packages; processing Merchant Mariner credentialing applications; producing Merchant Mariner credentials and medical certificates; creating and managing official merchant mariner records (electronic and paper based); record storage/upkeep and preparing Mariner records for archiving; correspondence and documentation; and completing data entry related to the credentialing process. Responsibilities & Duties - The duties of the Quality Lead shall include but are not limited to the following: - Assess production process issues and recommend improvements. - Ensure continual Contractor self-assessment, correction and improvement of performance. - Maintain accurate and effective documentation, recordkeeping and analysis. - Develop and maintain a system of data management for deficiencies, corrective action recording and reporting. - Evaluate and recommend alternative auditing procedures for continuous improvement - Interpret and support quality policies and implement guidelines to ensure compliance with contract quality and performance standards and documents. - Remain knowledgeable in all contract process areas and work with all team leads to ensure all contract performance requirements are being met. - Participate and assist team leads and Program Manager/On-Site Supervisor with staff training and development

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: - Must have a current Public Trust preferred; or able to obtain - Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook - Must be familiar with the use of Microsoft Access - Must have a minimum of 3 years quality inspection experience - Must have at a minimum of 2 years Quality Lead or Supervision experience - Must have a high school diploma Desired Qualifications: The duties and responsibilities listed in this job description generally cover the nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. Salary : $42,900 - $54,300
