Bonus which averages 4 to 7% of annual salary based on company performance

Summary
The Senior System Administrator is a key part of Management System team.
Your expertise will help to ensure system reliability and security. You will work with team
members to manage and operate mission critical infrastructure. Responsible for developing and
configuring critical technical computing platforms. Demonstrates high proficiency in the
implementation and maintenance of enterprise environments that include Windows Server,
Active Directory, Linux, VMWare, and Databases.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities / Knowledge
• Assists with the review, evaluation and root cause identification of deficiencies and
participates in mitigation plans with corrective actions.
• Support 24/7 real-time operations system availability through on call rotation
• Maintains security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Maintains and configures Windows servers and workstations, applies (NERC) CIP standards and cybersecurity best practices.
• Maintains broad working knowledge of relevant vendor software offerings, and up-to date
cybersecurity methods, including certifications.
• Experience with patch management activities that includes assessing, tracking,
implementing and mitigating if needed within the configuration management and change
control process.
• Experience with automation design techniques and implementation processes
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS and DHCP functionality
• Experience with network protocols such as SNMP, multicast and 802.1x
• Experience with cybersecurity policy implementation
• Experience with enterprise software, i.e., VMWare, Active Directory, LDAP, and MS
Exchange
• Experience with OS, i.e., Windows server, iOS, Linux (Red Hat), VMware
• Experience with systems tools: Solarwinds, Delinia, JIRA, SharePoint, Bigfix and Tripwire
• Experience with Oracle RDBMS or MS SQL
• Experience with problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with prioritizing and managing priorities
• Experience in Pure Storage Environment, NAS, NFS, (or equivalent)
• Ability to follow architecture and design from execution through stabilization
• Ability to work with vendors and cross functional departments
• Ability to develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
Professional certifications are preferred in appropriately aligned areas.
Experience:
- 8 to 10 years as a Senior Systems Administrator
