Talent Leader
POSITION SUMMARY
We’re looking for a talented Talent Leader to join our rapidly growing company. The right person can deliver the best talent, in the right roles to meet or exceed our financial, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, market leadership and Great Place to Work Results. S/he creates the frameworks and processes to ensure we have highly effective People Leaders and an engaged team, ready and enable to perform.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Talent Management Process & Framework, Programs, Metrics and Insights
- Performance Management Process & Framework
- Leadership and Professional Development programs
- Engagement Approach, Measurement Delivery, and framework to enable people leaders and employees create and sustain a Great Place to Work Environment
- Manager Playbook
- Process Partners & Customers - The Talent Leader is accountable to the Chief People Officer and Business Partner Leader to ensure programs and processes are meeting the business needs and delivering results.
- Business Leaders & Employees - Supplier Relationships for tools and capabilities to support Talent.
- Constraints & Challenges - People Leaders have varying degrees of capability with most needing substantial skill development. While highly desirable, Talent and Performance Management will be new processes in the organization, and we will need to manage the change accordingly
Key Processes & Activities
- Work in partnership with the Business and HRBP, HR – People Operations to meet the People Agenda goals and desired outcomes.
- Manages Talent programs and initiatives, and assists HRBP with executing throughout the organization.
- Create a roadmap for how and when Talent Review processes will happen in partnership with HR Business Partners, and track progress
- Continuously analyze talent pipeline and future talent needs; Recommend/drive existing programs to close gaps
- Manage metrics on the effectiveness of Talent Programs and implement continuous improvement plans as needed
- Work with HR business partner to embed people's leadership and management capabilities into Aktana.
- Develop global programs and toolkits as needed (e.g. talent development, performance mgmt., diversity and inclusion, workforce planning, career management, etc.), to close talent pipeline or potential future talent gap
- Train HR and business stakeholders on processes and tools to enable them to complete Talent Processes for their geography
- Own the Global Process and outcomes for Talent, Development and Performance Management.
- Competencies
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCES
- 6-8 years of experience with designing and delivering talent programs
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Proven ability to drive operational excellence within talent and leadership programs and processes.
- Actively champions talent
- Able to plan and align multiple programs to achieve business goals.
- Proven ability to drive change in a positive and pragmatic way.
- Develops strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results, with a wide variety of employees across different geographies and functions.
- Able to drive results in alignment with Aktana’s values
- Experience collaborating with remote teams and managers of all levels with various areas of expertise
- Continuous improvement mindset
- A valid passport and the ability to travel internationally without restrictions
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree required; Masters or MBA preferred
