Responsibilities
Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Perform diagnostic Nuclear Medicine examinations to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care to include: injection of radiopharmaceutical, protocol setup, patient positioning, processing and network image transfers
- Performs Quality Control on camera's and hot lab instruments
- Demonstrates knowledge of Radiation Safety practices and principals
- Assists in emergency situations
- Assist with the workflow of the department to ensure the completion of work assignments
- Demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and competency in clinical area of the practice
- Demonstrate the ability to use all channels of communication to address inter- and intradepartmental concerns, solve problems, and address conflict
Qualifications
Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Qualified candidates will have:
- Nuclear Medicine experience is required
- CNMT or ARRT (N) is required; * additional modality certifications are preferred*
- State license, * if required
- CPR certification is required
- IV Skills required
- For applicants in Illinois and Pennsylvania: The COVID-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment
Education
- Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program with at least 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience
Other Skills and Abilities
- Familiarity with current software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Organization and record keeping skills
