QA Automation Engineer

We have an immediate QA Automation engineer@ Jersey city-NJ-Onsite (12 months-W2 Contract) with Verisk. Please go through the requirement and reply with your updated profile, contact details and  your availability if  you would be interested.

Job Title: Information Technology - Automation Engineer

Client is Verisk

Location: NJ-Jersey City-Office(onsite)

Duration: 12 months -W2 Contract

Interview:

1. All candidates will be taking a WePow online interview for the first round instead of a phone interview.

Candidates will be receiving an email from WePow which will instruct them to take the interview. The interview questions will be combinations of video responses, multiple choices etc.

1. This can be taken at any time by the candidate we ask that take it within 48 hrs. of receiving the email.

1. Evaluators in Verisk will then review the candidate’s interview test, make comments and ultimately choose YES or NO. This will happen within 24 hours of a candidate completing their test.

1. YES – If the candidate passes the test - I will schedule a face-to-face interview with the recruiter

1. NO – We will notify the recruiter that the candidate did not pass and provide feedback (if any was posted by the evaluator)

1. Face to face or Video interviews will proceed normally at Jersey City Verisk office Please Include Candidates Email address while submitting for the position.

The candidate will need to use his personal laptop and connect to the Verisk network using Vmware client.

Only Selenium , API Automation and DB testing

Job Description

9 years of proven experience in software development industry, participating in team environment .

3 years of experience in automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver with Java or C#.

3 years of proven experience in testing web services such as RESTful API.

3 years of proven experience in performance testing using tools such as Apache JMeter.

2 years of working in a cloud based development and production environment such as AWS .

Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C# .Net.

Familiarity working in a Continuous Integration atmosphere.

Responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan test specification, and test case templates.

Develop and document test plans and test specifications.

Develop and execute test scripts using automated testing tools ; document and summarize results.

Facilitate the defect tracking and test result summary processes through reporting.

Review requirements documented as Functional Specifications, User Stories or Change Requests; Identify test data and prepare test cases for automation; Participate in system and regression testing and support client UAT.

Manage and prioritize defects from detection through to resolution.

Must have test case design experience and knowledge of test case design techniques.
