Exceptional opportunity for an energetic multi-tasker to help lead our donation centers as an Assistant Team Lead (ATL). Business education, material processing, retail operations, customer relations experience, solid leadership and interpersonal skills, human services exposure, and ability to work typical retail hours are important qualifications. Ability to work effectively as part of a team with a friendly and positive attitude is key.
Essential Functions
- Ensures 100% donor and customer delight.
- Assist in recruiting and training new ADC team members.
- Manages and coordinates the processing of donations and on-site and off-site collection. Ensures accurate donor counts.
- Ensure that safety standards are being followed.
- Learn how to utilize AGI's Web Enabled Statistical Analytics
- Ensure labor, expenses and donor satisfaction goals are met.
- Complete reports as needed.
- Ensures that loading and unloading of vehicles is performed utilizing safety practices (i.e. lifting, use of equipment, etc.) and accidents are reported in a timely manner to the immediate supervisor Assist with disciplinary actions as needed.
- Works with AGI Store TLCs to ensure that the collection, production, and internal distribution of donated products are properly integrated to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Resolve team member and donor complaints as needed.
- Provide world class customer service in a professional and courteous manner.
- Demonstrate teamwork and cooperation.
- Regularly travel between locations.
Qualifications
- Detail oriented mindset - Retail Operations require attention to detail to make sure that information is accurate.
- Effective communication skills - You will communicate expectations and details to workers and customers. You should be assertive, clear, and accurate.
- Problem solving abilities - Must be capable of making decisions quickly to solve problems.
- Driven/Self-Starter personality - Your success depends on your daily drive to grow and improve your location.
- 1-3 years' experience in a retail supervisory position
- High school diploma or equivalent, undergraduate degree preferred.
- Positive work history
- Work with minimal supervision
- Value diversity
- Valid Driver's License, appropriate insurance coverage, and a privately owned reliable means of transportation to travel throughout AGI territory
- Ability to work retail hours including some evening, weekends, holidays
