St. Philip’s College is a Historically Black College and Hispanic-Serving Institution with a population of approximately 13,000 students. Of that enrollment: 36% are Pell Grant recipients; 10% are veterans; 84% are enrolled part-time; and 57% are female. We serve 60% Latinx, 22% White, 12% Black or African American, 2% Asian, and 5% other (including American Indian or Alaska Native, multi-racial, or unknown) student populations. We seek faculty experienced in developing course content and delivering instructional practices, as well as staff experienced in delivering supportive services, for diverse populations who have the ability to communicate issues and concerns faced by racially minoritized students.

Job Summary and Description
Assists in developing, implementing and administering the annual budget. Prepares related reports.

Reports to the Department of Finance and Fiscal Services.


Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or a combination of relevant experience, education and training that equates to the required degree.
  • Three years’ of relevant experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business or public administration.
  • Five years’ of experience in a closely related field, preferably fund accounting.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Must have a valid driver license. Must be insurable through Alamo Colleges’ insurers.

Motor Vehicle Report is required in addition to background check and drug screen
