- Knowledgeable of all services and supplies provided by Preferred Home Health Providers and uphold Alana HealthCare, LLC’s standards for excellence.
- Processes referrals from all sources, including phone, fax and portals.
- Follows up on outstanding authorizations in a timely manner.
- Enters authorization notes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Answers phone calls in a timely manner.
- Enters referrals and checks eligibility in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provides on-call support after hours and on weekends as needed.
- Directs the coordination and scheduling of patient referrals to appropriate clinician.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient appointment book for clinician.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Must be knowledgeable of reimbursement issues of equipment and supplies for third party payment, i.e. pricing, codes, denial and resubmission criteria, medical reviews.
- Working knowledge of computer operations.
- Dependability and reliability during assigned office hours a must.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
- As a condition of employment, qualified individual will be subject to a background check, including criminal history check and character references.
Salary : $29,500 - $37,400
