The role
Alani Nu is rapidly growing, and we are currently seeking an Account Manager to join our team. The individual will work on a team to accomplish tasks and projects that are instrumental to the company’s financial and operational success. Our continued growth and industry expertise allow us to provide excellent opportunities for career development and advancement. The Key Account Manager will be responsible for all necessary functions related to the assigned accounts.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the entire order process ensuring the plan is properly executed; including initial shipments, replenishment orders, modular/display commitments as well as overseeing order processing, order shipping and delivery cycle.
- Serve as reference point for internal cross functional areas and external customers alike through feedback, documentation & information.
- Track sales reports, keeping detailed accounts & status reports, and perform data entry.
- Maintain retail execution data and customer information in assigned resources/tools.
- Manage administrative and analytical duties.
- Analyze large data sets to gauge performance, identify opportunities, understand trends, and ultimately deduct actionable insight.
- Cultivate and foster strong working relationships with retail buyers and replenishment teams.
- Lead the review and resolution of customer issues.
- Generate internal and external reporting.
- Coordinate meetings with top customers to discuss open topics.
- Apply financial acumen and analytical skills to build and execute a successful strategy.
- Coordinate with customer team members to improve and manage the analytical reporting along with providing the support for sales.
Key skills and experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications or related field.
- Advanced abilities with Power BI, Microsoft Excel, Netsuite systems.
- 6 years of related experience.
- Eager to work in a fast-paced environment and partner with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to learn new software quickly.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize while communicating effectively.
- Exceptional follow up and organizational skills.
- Ability to accurately execute solutions and implement new processes.
- Proactive, self-starter, solutions oriented, embraces change, entrepreneurial spirit.
