Requirements of the Job
- Passionate about the restaurant industry and holds the highest standards for service and guest interaction.
- A relentless focus on quality and presentation of the food and beverage program.
- Constant awareness of the feel and vibe in the restaurant and setting the standard for the rest of the staff.
- Meet or exceed established sales, revenue, and profitability goals, EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, & Amortization) cash flow movement in a position direction.
- Ensure the financial integrity of all P&L statements through a strong financial acumen with a focus on controlling costs and generating revenue.
- High-level communication with managers, hourly team members, and guests, providing positive feedback and promoting a positive image of the restaurant and good team morale.
- Can expertly lead a shift while coaching and developing other leaders to do the same.
- Take quick and responsible action in solving problems and be able to use reason when dealing with disciplinary issues.
- Be accessible and an active resource for all members of the team
- Manage weekly work schedules and ensure schedules meet sales and labor budgets.
- Addresses issues resulting from critical violations of health or internal inspections in a timely and professional manner.
- Dedication to continuously finding innovative and creative ways to boost sales and new guest traffic.
- Safeguards the Company assets, including funds, equipment, and the restaurant building, taking appropriate action when necessary.
- Regularly interviews applicants for employment, makes consistent and timely hiring decisions for the restaurant, and regularly coaches and includes other managers in the process.
- Ensures compliance with federal, local, and state laws; company policies; and procedures.
- Has knowledge of accounting and financial management principles with a focus on budgeting and forecasting revenue goals and objectives.
- Must have or be willing to obtain Food Safety certification and understands and follows OSHA and HACCP compliance standards.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Physical Demands:
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to read and write in English to process paperwork and follow recipes.
- Manual dexterity is needed for keyboarding and other repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to frequently stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach above shoulder level.
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 20 lbs.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, supervisory skills, organizational skills, and computer literacy are required.
- Must have five years of restaurant management experience with at least two years in a fine dining atmosphere.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high volume restaurant
- Wine Knowledge is a plus!

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
