Job Summary:

The Partner Training Specialist is responsible for the development and implementation of training tools and programs for OpenEye’s products and services, including defining training objectives. The Trainer must possess extensive knowledge of the technologically sophisticated products OpenEye sells, and their applications to solve customer problems, in order to explain their advantages and answer questions. Success in this position will be measured by the Trainers ability to apply technical and commercial knowledge to explain and evangelize the specifications, best practices, use cases, functionality, and benefits of OpenEye's products and services to sales and customers in easily understandable terms using varying communication mediums.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Produce training courses and testing material for OpenEye products and services for online distribution to internal and external customers.
  • Manage OpenEye’s certification programs, tools and courses.
  • Collect data and report on training utilization and effectiveness.
  • Recommend and implement training improvements based on organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate and produce video FAQs on trending support and product issues.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop targeted education and training content which increases adoption of OpenEye products and improves customer understanding of OpenEye’s unique value proposition in the market.
  • Coordinate and deliver webinars on varied topics focused on product education and promotion. (Best Practices, Tips and Tricks, Product Releases, how tos, Technology Spotlights).
  • Assist in developing and presenting onsite training to corporate and field locations.
  • Act as a thought leader for our platform and industry, including speaking engagements and written works.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to develop innovative programs that drive demand.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, required.
  • 3-5 years of experience developing and delivering virtual content.
  • Knowledge of training methodologies.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems and Webinar Platforms.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally across a diverse set of perspectives and areas of expertise.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a small, fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for technology and interest in developing a deep understanding of complex products and technologies.
  • Understanding of VMS, a plus.

  • The pay for this opportunity is $60,000 - $85,000 per year. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
