Candy Manufacturing-

Management: Primary - Production Manager
Secondary – Kitchen Lead
Key Responsibilities:
- Production of Jams & Jellies, sauces, and honeys.
- Cooking, enrobing, packing, labeling, and storing of all finished candy products for retail and wholesale sales.
- Receives and checks incoming perishable and non-perishable inventory and supplies for quality, quantity, and accurate storage.
- Rotates and places all open and unopened perishable food items in clean containers, labeled and date
- Perform inventory of perishable and non-perishables for reorder and par purposes.
- Prevent the spoiling and contamination of foods by practicing proper sanitation and complying with corporate policy and health regulations
- Keep accurate production and waste logs for records and analysis
- Proper maintenance, setup, breakdown, and cleaning of all kitchen equipment.
- Take a proactive role in keeping all culinary areas and employee bathroom in a clean and sanitary manner to prevent any foodborne illnesses and chemical contaminants.
- Any other tasks as assigned by a production manager or president.

Expectations
- Be able to perform and maintain all health and safety regulations (HAACP) according to FDA and Municipal Health Departments.
- Prepare all required items on a timely basis after training

- Be able to maintain a professional appearance (uniforms, communication, etc.) at all times
- Be able to demonstrate a complete understanding of all confectionary items
- Be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and employees
- Be able to carry out other tasks within your level of skill
- Holiday hours are a must (ex. Christmas eve, Thanksgiving eve, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day)
All employees must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Be 18 years or older. Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 55lbs, kneeling, standing, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely up to 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation. The ability to work in varied indoor, refrigerated and or freezer conditions which may include heat, cold, freezing, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Ability to work in elevated areas (4ft and above). Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written). Basic computer skills. Experience in a production and/or similar kitchen environment. Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice.
