Alaskan Copper & Brass Company and Alaskan Copper Works operate as a combined metal service center, manufacturer and fabricator of corrosion resistant alloy products. We offer a large and diverse inventory of corrosion resistant alloys along with the latest in material processing equipment and expertise. Our goal is to continue to be a true "service center" for our customers. We provide accurate, rapid quotation services and the ability to deliver material on time, and, if necessary, preprocessed to our customer's exact specifications.

Job Title: Expeditor
Pay Rate: $19.68-$29.53/hour
Hours of Work: 8am-4:30pm

Expeditor Summary:
Expedites purchase orders and coordinates incoming material with customers’ orders. Receives and reconciles all material for inventory.
Required Essential Expeditor Skills/Experience:
1. Read, write and understand English.
2. Computer literate, 10 key by touch. Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
3. Good phone skills.
4. Good math skills.
5. Able to assist customers in a congenial, professional manner.
Required Essential Expeditor Functions/Duties:
1. Input inventory received into computer, including remote branches.
2. Reconcile future delivery dates and quantities against AC&B purchase orders.
3. Commit and issue material.
4. Expedite purchase order deliveries.
5. Assist customers/vendors over the phone with their inquiries.
6. Process credits.
7. Maintain calendar for future deliveries.
8. Verify and scan test reports into system.
