POSITION SUMMARY

• Responsible for preparation of detail drawings that comply with job specifications, design criteria, Hillsdale standards and applicable Code requirements.
• Responsible for preparation of erection drawings and/or marking plans required for the project.
• Responsible for preparation of material list requisitions.
• Coordinates with third party detailing and engineering firms.
• Coordinates with other trades as it relates to Hillsdale scope.
• Reads and follows set schedules.
• Participates in Project meetings, including, but not limited to: kick-off meetings, closeout meetings and shop prep meetings.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Reads, analyzes, edits, and interprets information so that it is presented to clients and other stakeholders in a professional and partnership mindset.
• Responds effectively to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
• Effectively presents information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors.
• Possesses experience using Tekla, advanced AutoCAD, or equivalent CAD software programs.

Education and Experience

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related technical field AND 2 years' related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
