What You Will Do
If you're detail oriented and enjoy a fast-paced technology environment, this role is for you. We are looking for a hands-on Accounting Lead to take on a leadership role within our growing Accounting team. This individual will be responsible for all GL accounting outside of Revenue. This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly growing company and grow with the organization.
How You Will Spend Your Days
- Completing month-end financial statement close process including reconciliations and prepare financial reports for management
- Assisting with variance analysis on financial statement results
- Reviewing expense reporting for compliance with reimbursement policy
- Overseeing various tax filings
- Being an integral part of the annual financial statement audits
- Managing a Junior Staff Accountant
- Assisting with other finance department functions and ad hoc projects
What You Bring to This Role
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 3 years' experience in general accounting and SaaS revenue recognition accounting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
- Advanced proficiency with Excel
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, organize work flow and use time efficiently
- Strong work ethic; willingness to help wherever needed
- Ability to develop and contribute to process and systems improvements, adaptable to working in a fast-paced changing atmosphere and a cloud-based environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 1 to 2 years Public Accounting experience preferred
- Experience with ASC 606, ASC 842 and ASC 350-40 preferred
Compensation for this position includes an annual base salary between $90,000 and $110,000, and eligibility for annual bonus.
