Job Summary:
The Production Coordinator will work daily within Aldevron’s manufacturing department by scheduling and coordinating tasks associated with Aldevron’s Clinical Manufacturing services. The Production Coordinator is expected to become familiar with all Aldevron products and be able to schedule and coordinate tasks associated with all required manufacturing deliverables.
Responsibilities:
Lead the generation and maintenance of a documented manufacturing schedule for staff
Actively participate in inter and intra departmental meetings to ensure project priorities are clearly communicated and resources are properly scheduled
Coordinate and schedule manufacturing events appropriated based on planned and unplanned facility and equipment maintenance tasks with Facilities as appropriate and within defined timelines
Coordinate equipment activities with Facilities and track for completion and release in time for scheduled manufacturing events
Escalate any timeline concerns to cross functional department management
Plan and schedule all processing rooms, equipment and personnel resources for clinical operations
Assist with various data tracking and reporting department metrics, both quality and business critical
Coordinate resources for execution of Corrective Actions and Preventative Actions (CAPAs) investigations, plans, implementations while ensuring timelines are adhered to and met
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in a scientific degree required
At least 2 years of experience in a related position required, 4 or more years preferred
Good knowledge of computers and programs such as visual planning, Dynamics 365, Microsoft Office and Smartsheet
