Job Summary:
We are seeking a customer-oriented Cashier to join our retail team. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
Duties:
- Greet customers entering the store in a friendly manner
- Operate cash registers and POS systems to process transactions
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
- Bag items carefully and assist customers with packing as needed
- Handle exchanges and refunds in accordance with company policies
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Promote special offers and loyalty programs to customers
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
- Knowledge of jewelry, electronics, wireless, or technical sales is advantageous
